If you do not take your car to a franchised dealer for repairs and servicing you will invalidate the warranty. WRONG WRONG WRONG!
Here at GSF we are never ceased to be amazed that this myth still continues and that car owners faithfully go along to main dealers and pay through the nose for car parts and labour when there is NO NEED.
The truth is that is not necessary to go to a franchised dealer for your car repairs and servicing and that doing so will NOT void your warranty. This is true whatever the age of the car.
Surprisingly enough the main dealers are not publicising this fact and may well throw up objections but you must remember that you do have the choice. Remember that so long as the parts used are genuine or otherwise suitable replacements (such as the ones from GSF Car Parts) AND that the garage is suitably qualified then you have absolutely no problems with the warranty.
